What have we been up to this summer?

I can't believe this summer is coming to a close and Fall is just around the corner. For us this summer has been a memorable one as it has been our first summer spent with Easton Gage as part of the Chester Clan. What fun we have had swimming, playing outside, and time spent together.

The first couple of weeks in August Easton was able to spend some time with family as Grandpa, Noona, and Aunt Brynne came in town to visit.  The following pics sum up some of our time together with family.

9 Months and Counting

What does 9 months look like for Easton Gage?

9 months of age brings...
5 1/2 teeth, chewing on the sides of his crib, pulling up on everything, crawling as fast as he can go, walking around the crib for 30 minutes when it's supposed to be nap time, interests in household items such as: measuring cups, whisks, the dishwasher (when it's open), & momma's (or anyone else's) watch as well as floor vents & curlers, the attempt to climb stairs, eat 3 meals a day plus a snack, "DA DA DA DA!", Easton's first shoo shoo in his bathtub during bath-time, waving bye-bye or hello, showing his "muscles" (hilarious!), the love of books (current favorite's include Brown Bear Brown Bear, Little Loon and Pappa, & The Going to Bed Book), noticing of his surroundings (unfamiliar vs. familiar), noticing Momma hasn't been there upon arrival or when she's visited at work (still no attachment issues), weight: 19 lbs (20th percentile), 9-12 months clothing size & size 3 diaper, sleeps 12 hours at night with 3 naps during the daytime, giggles and laughter when tickled, the growth of red hair that can be styled into a curly mohawk, and more and more love and adoration from his parents with each passing day.
